Mmashoro Eco-Village

KS Energy intends to provide accommodation for the gas well fields and the Mmashoro Independent Power Producer station employees. This accommodation is to house the employees through the project planning stage, construction phase and the operational phase. The Mmashore area is a dry, arid part of Botswana with intermittent rainfall. The extraction of gas from the well fields has large volumes of salt water as a bi-product. This inspired the design proposal to desalinate this waste water and build an oasis in the desert and use it for farming that will enhance the development of the area through sustainable means of employment creation.
